There are a great number of FREE, Freemium and Paid support desk applications.
I would love to see the ability to integrate at least one of these applications into Splynx much like how WHMCS has had vendors from various help-desks perform the task.
A great example of this would be SupportPal.
I am sure the community might have their own suggestions - with the help desk at present lacking in functionality such as inbound email to ticket capabilities - this functionality I think would go a long way.
