SMTP setup issues: "Failed to auth.. on SMTP server... using 2 possible authenticators

Hi,

I’ve been attempting to setup email sending in Splynx, but getting this error, when trying to send a test email:

Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with username “*****” using 2 possible authenticators.

I use the same settings in UISP, but have tried different settings.

Our network can ping port 587 ok, and we think it’s not being blocked at our end. Trying to find where the problem might be.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Hello,

you should log a support ticket with your request. It can be caused by multiply reasons:

  1. 2FA on SMTP server is enabled;
  2. Incorrect credentials/port.
