Service Contracts & Activation Fees

In Australia, it is normal practice for an end-user to go onto a contract for their internet access. Typically 1 month, 12 month and 24 months.

It seems that Splynx charges a contract activation fee on renewal. Is that correct? Is there a way to only ever charge the activation fee once?

ie we won’t want to issue an activation fee to someone every month if they are on a monthly plan.
