IPv4 Dynamic VS Static Pools with PPPoE

I am wondering if there is a way to have Dynamic IP allocation for customers via PPPoE but later change them to static, or have them all stay as static once assigned.

I know there is the static option in the IPv4 Networks but as far as I can tell this is very much a manual process to assign these IP’s to a user.

What I need is the ability to assign IP automatically exactly like the pools do currently but then have those IPs never change and be associated with that customer they were assigned to.

I think there is no way to achieve what you are asking for. Dynamic is dynamic and if we say static, admin should assign it inside Splynx. Yes I agree it’s a bit manual work.

OK that is fine, I realised it is not that difficult to assign static in this way after all
