Can hooks be used to notify customers of exceeding FUP?

Hi,

I was curious if it would be possible to create a Hook that will automatically send an email to the customer and to support notifying them if they have exceeded the FUP.

As I understand it, when they exceed their daily allowance, a notification is sent to the router to implement a change to the queue to restrict their speed. Is there any way to link a Hook to this to send an automated email?

Hi Aidan,
I think, better use CAP, there are notification and you don’t have to use hook or anything else:

Unfortunately we don’t use CAP as we don’t offer customers the option to top up. Our FUP is daily whereas CAP is monthly. Is there any other way we can achieve these notifications?
