we use mysql database, so - sure you can connect directly but be careful. Better use Splynx API to receive any data from DB.

No, as I correctly understood you - you want get data from Splynx to your different system.
In this case you should to use script which will receive data from Splynx via API and sent it to your App via your API.
My API Soft is based in PHP so i can host it in Splynx for connect directly to database and just get the customer name by phone number
